Help us to save The Royal Oak from the risk of closure...
The Royal Oak, Crockham Hill, has been a village watering hole for over 500 years but it is under threat of permanent closure if a trade buyer cannot be found. We have a short one-off opportunity to buy the pub as a community asset for future generations, but to do so, we need your help!
Your investment could be the one that makes all the difference
The Crockham Hill Community Benefit Society Ltd - with the support of the Plunkett Foundation - is fighting to raise the £500,000 needed to buy The Royal Oak and save this crucial community asset and historic public house.
We are over halfway to our goal. But there is still a long way to go!
Thanks to the tremendous response we have received from those who have pledged support in and around the village, we have exceeded 50% of the target without considering the need for any loans. We are making good progress but we still have a way to go to achieve our goal. With this in mind we have extended the deadline to allow the pledges to keep coming in. So if you haven’t made a pledge yet, or know of someone who may be able to help, please spread the word and encourage as many people as possible to get involved. It really could be that your donation is the one that allows us to achieve our goals and save the The Royal Oak Crockham Hill from closing.
